21st century antics

Phoenix paranormal were invited by the lovely Twilight Shadows to come along to an investigation they were holding in a lovely old antique shop in the middle of Salisbury. Also there we met there a paranormal team called Half Life paranormal. One of the Lads who's Dad owns this shop also works there too.

Unfortunately I ended up going on my own though as for one reason or another my team members couldn't go (wimps!!). So armed with a satnav (I cant use)!! And written directions I got from good old AA route map, I set off on my own into the unknown. It took me about 40 mins to get to Salisbury from Melksham and I found Maria's house ok (which is a first). We arrived at the shop and it was truly amazing. Just my type of place. A real mix of amazing sculptures and pure brick-a-brack.

Most of the activity in this place was in a room just off to the right and down in the corner. Thuds, bangs and even sighs have been heard hear as well as footsteps on the floor above. (Derek Acorah has been here in Ghost towns apparently) We set up a huge heavy table for a seance and put up cameras around the area. We then turned out the lights and said our protection prayer and opened the circle.

Not much happened to begin with. I did find it increasingly difficult to keep the link going though and I asked others if they were feeling ok. A lot of people said they felt very thirsty.

The mood of the room started to change and the cameras one by one all died. The table started to really move quite violently in quite a quick motion. It then moved completely over towards Ben's side of the room. With that another member of Half life came back in and the table settled down a bit so we had a break and changed the batteries of the camera. We resumed the seance.

Quite quickly the table moved again. Everytime Ben talked the table really responded. We had a torch on underneath the table and I kept looking to see if anyone was moving the table with their feet but it really was a big table and I didnt really think it was possible anyway.

Maria and I suddenly shouted out at the same time because under the table where we were we heard (and felt) what sounded like nails scratching... The whole atmosphere had really changed and I was starting to feel very un-nerved and so was Maria and shelley (who was sat the other side of us). There were definite thuds and bangs and taps underneath the table at times. You could feel the vibrations from them.

The energy died down suddenly but quite quickly it built up again but this time the table seemed to move differently. The other lad from half life had joined us by now again and had just been telling us about a female spirit that isn't very nice who is reported to haunt there. They have heard her sigh before. When anyone tried to ask her questions she didn't respond but we found that it did If I asked them (for some reason so) I took over for this bit. We determined that she was happy to be there but didn't want us there at all. She was aware of the other spirits but wasn't happy with them being there. She also told us one wanted to be helped to cross over to the light but she wouldn't tell us who it was. The table would really lift off of the ground with this one. She was very impatient and got very cross and lifted the table if we were talking amongst ourselves.

At one point this table had shoved me right up against a huge wardrobe and I couldn't

move anymore. I asked if we could move the table back as I just didn't like that wardrobe.

We had another spirit come through which didnt really make much sense and it seemed to die down. We decided to have a break and then seeing the time decided to go as a lot of us had work and I had an hours drive to get home.
